Could the WoW: Forever Podcast be Teasing a Secret New Weapon?

On the sixth installment of the WoW Forever podcast, the famous board behind Josh “Aggrend” Greenfield reads “SHEN’SERRAR LEZAL MELOR’NA ADALA FAL,” and WoW Forever players have already hit Reddit and the forums to discuss their theories.

As one forum post points out, “Shen’Serrar” translates to “Hidden Blade,” as “Shen” translates to “Hidden,” as we’ve learned from the introduction of the Skyborne in WoW Forever, and “Serrar,” a word we’ve seen previously with Quel’Serrar, an Epic sword earned from a quest line, starting with Foror's Compendium, involving battling Onyxia, meaning “Blade.”

According to the Warcraft Wiki Darnassian section, the phrase “Shanna melor’ne adal fal” translates to “The truth is a guiding light,” which helps fill in some of the other gaps. With this, the only translation players don’t know yet is “Lezal.” With these clues, the forum post suggests it could translate to something like “‘The Hidden Blade is the Guiding Light’ or ‘The Hidden Blade our guiding light’.”

What makes this more intriguing is that, in the first raid tier of WoW Forever, we’ll battle Onyxia in a 40-player raid encounter, which is the same raid where Warriors and Paladins acquired Quel’Serrar.

With this new secret, the Secret Finding Discord is also on the case - although, since the game currently isn't live, there is only so much players can currently do. With the launch of Forever just a few days away, be sure to keep an eye on the Secret Finders to see what this podcast hint might lead to!
